Versatile Red: Primitivo

Today, Sarah's tasting our Primitivo wine that comes from Colle della Murgia in Puglia.

This one's got tons of flavour, without being too full-bodied. Some might call this one a little spicy, with dark berry & blackberry flavours. Great paried with grilled meat or a rich pasta dish.

Primitivo is made with the same grapes as a California Zinfandel - which makes this the perfect experiment to see what wine afficianados mean by 'terroir' (fancy word for the ground where the grapes are grown.
